International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)

IGCSE is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to16 year old, taught by over 5000 schools in more than 140 countries.The culmination of the Secondary School lies in The Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) which is one of the most recognized qualifications among universities and other institutions of the world.
Cambridge IGCSE is a two year course renowned for developing vital educational skills, including recall of knowledge, oral skills, problem solving, enquiry, initiative, team work, creative thinking and investigative skills.Learners are assessed at the end of the course. This linear structure gives more uninterrupted teaching time. Learners are awarded a Grade from A* to G for each subject, with A* being the highest grade. The resulting qualification provides a foundation for higher level courses such as Cambridge AS and A Levels, the Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education, the North American Advanced Placement program and the International Baccalaureate.
Cambridge IGCSE caters to different levels of ability with a choice between core and extended papers in many subjects. The curriculum does not encourage rote learning and students are equipped with the skills to learn well and develop love for learning. Cambridge IGCSE offers a flexible course of study that gives candidates the freedom to choose subjects that are right for them, whilst providing them with a broad knowledge base and lifelong skills.
